While I wasn’t expecting my search to be difficult, I was still nonetheless surprised to find a host of results advertising carrying through Discord. With the overwhelming advantage, the customer is then able to loot the map freely and take home items that could otherwise take hours to earn legitimately.Īs it turned out, finding these illegitimate services was – like almost anything nowadays – just one Google search away. Someone with hacks will sell this service to players, ‘carrying’ the customer through an online raid and using their cheats to wipe all competition from the map. In Tarkov, one of the biggest RMT services is referred to as ‘carrying’. To do so, I set about looking for one of these cheaters-for-hire. His point about real money trading being the root of Tarkov cheating interested me, and I wanted to learn more from someone who uses cheats to provide in-game profit for others. As Gigabeef puts it, “getting banned turns into a cost of doing business,” meaning hackers will simply keep buying new versions of the game “as long as there are players buying their in-game items”. When hackers have a financial incentive to cheat, a permanent ban does even less to dissuade users.

These players buying rubles or items is the starting point for the cheat economy.” “Each wipe cycle brings an influx of new people, who are prime targets for RMT because the game is hard and the learning curve is steep. “All large FPS games have cheaters but in Tarkov, the cheating that comes along with real money trading is much more of a problem than players cheating just to troll or to simply defeat other players,” This, Gigabeef alleges, is what’s fueling an “arms race between Battlestate and the RMT cheat community”.Įscape From Tarkov. He’s referring to real-world trading, which is when players pay real money for in-game items gathered by sellers.

anyways i hope that nobody else has the same issue as me and is careful of how you do trades etc. That being said, Gigabeef is well aware that Tarkov has a cheating issue, as the very nature of Tarkov “brings financial opportunities for cheaters due to the way the game is structured”. I would suggest that anybody who uses the unnoficial discord or even trading stuff with people you know through twitch chat (something i have done as well) to be VERY conservative with how many trades they do as i believe one or two trades every here and there wont cause you to get flagged and banned but I did alot of trading in the past few weeks as a result of being a solo player who plays alot and aggresively (as well as the fact that i play alot of labs and run into my fair share of rgb gamers with stuff up my prison wallet) I would also be careful of dropping stuff that you have FIR to a buddy ur playing with as 2 raids ago i had gotten a ledx from blue and dropped it to my friend as i was going to push players and told him that if i died he should just leave and sell the ledx and we can split the cost, we played one more raid i got my bitcoins edned up dying and while im waiting for my buddy to get out boom banned. I am making this post so that i can raise awareness so that EVERYONE else doesnt fall into the same situation as me and have to wait however long its going to take them to look into my account and unban me. I have not done ANY of these things and im not on here to get myself unbanned as I have already sent emails and made support tickets to get my case looked into. I want to preface this by saying a few things as Ik ppl wont believe me and will just think that i either bought roubles or sold them or cheated or wtv.
