Naga’s Fury is so much better as it does more damage, has less holds, and cost less stamina. I’ve never even considered using serbatiyo’s wrath because of its holds and stamina cost but that move certainly needs something as well. (There is Naga but that’s more mental and plays a different role than Ukama) I like Ukama but I wouldn’t mine there being another option for a similar role. Or maybe make a weak synergy move for Oceara? I’m sure Crema will help it out eventually because as of right now Ukama is the best offensive water option with no real competition. (Only con I can think of for this is it could attack and recover stamina with sweatband which might be okay but might also be over powered.) Make it 3 priority if it does 35 damage kind of like DC beam for water. Something that cost low stamina (10-12) does anywhere from 35 to 50 damage. I feel like a new water move could be good. Some other less powerful zero hold move would probably be better.ĪBH is okay and is certainly better than nothing. I was thinking it might be okay because of its stamina cost.

Hmmm I can agree water cannon may not be the best fit. Something tells me they'd want what is treated in-universe as one of, if not the most powerful Water Tem (who also happens to be very hard to obtain both in-general and competitive bred) to be better then D-tier in comp.Īgain, not outright opposed to giving Oceara Water Canon specifically, but it may cause Ukama to be left behind as a result.

Whatever that may be, I'm sure Crema's already working on it.

That said, Oceara could absolutely use something, whether a turn-1 special STAB technique that's maybe weaker than Water Cannon or something to help it stay on the battlefield long enough to use its better options. I'm not opposed to the idea of Oceara having Water Cannon, but doing so would likely lead to the exact inverse of the current issue, why bother using Ukama when Oceara can fill the same roll with more offensive power? Ukama does have much better Stamina but from what I can tell, most Tems aren't spending more than 1-2 turns in battle, especially frail Tems like Oceara and Ukama, so that wouldn't factor all too often. rare Temtem that you can get to boost your team, such as Barnshe and Oceara. Disclaimer: I'm not super familiar with competitive Temtem, based on other suggestions I've made, what I'm about to say may sound completely ridiculous to someone more familiar, I apologize if that's the case In this guide, well help you choose your starter Temtem and explain which.
